Founded in 1990 by Jim Kringlen, AAA Fiberglass started as a small company that set itself apart with impeccable workmanship. Jim’s 31 years of experience in fiberglass fabrication, tooling and repair was key in the companies growth during the early years as a homebased company that operated out of Jim’s garage. Focusing primarily on fiberglass and paint repair on boats and recreational vehicles, Jim’s quality of work was apparent early as AAA begin to grow. Shortly after, Jim’s brother Kermit Kringlen joined the AAA team as a job estimator and proved himself early as an invaluable asset and eventual partner/owner. As demand for fiberglass service increased, Jim hired shop foreman and repair expert Troy Shounk and the three men moved AAA to an office on the South side of Oklahoma City. In response to a growing demand for field repairs on fiberglass used in the oil and gas industry, AAA created a new division. With Jim focusing his full attention as Chief of Operations for the oil field service side, his brother Kermit took over as Chief of Operations for the RV/boat repair division. The rest, as they say, is history. AAA Fiberglass has since become the industry leader and expanded from three initial employees to a company of 70 plus.
